When I first heard about the launch of Sid’s Room, I was immediately excited. Not only for my friends behind this project but also for what this show will bring to the Toronto music scene. Inspired by the intimate live music environment of Tiny Desk and the authentic live feeling of KEXP, Sid's Room is an amazing platform for up-and-coming Toronto-based musicians and bands. Located in a (pretty big) basement bedroom in downtown Toronto, this is by far the coolest "venue" and music space I've ever been to.
I had the privilege of watching two live tapings in action and was blown away by the production and professionalism of the crew, the majority of whom are students of Toronto Metropolitan University....
